Right Hand Mistakes and Set-ups for Boxing

 In this video I cover a number of common beginner mistakes when throwing the right hand in boxing. I also cover a few ways to set up the right hand. 

1. Loading the right hand by dropping it

2. Pulling the right hand back and raising the elbow

3. leaning forward with the body

 4. Turning the head when throwing Some common set-ups are: 1. throwing the 1-2 in quick succession

2. double jab to move your opponent to their left and throw the right hand down the middle or bring around the overhand right

3. Splitting the opponent down the centre with the double jab, then stepping slight to the right and bringing the right hand across, outside of the left guard

4. setting up patterns and breaking from them, for example, going low, then faking low and attacking high
