ACRP Educational Programs

 
2011 Ringside Physicians Seminar, June 22-25 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO

Each year, at the same time and place as the USA Boxing National Championships, the ACRP offers a CME program that offers 25 credits for classroom sessions and certification testing. In addtion, with attendance at ringside during the championships additional CME credits may be available.  A test on the course material is offered that can provide certification in ringside medicine from the American Board of Ringside Medicine. Ringside:
The Ringside Tournament is the largest amateur boxing event in the world and is held annually in Kansas City, MO in August. This year the tournament will be held August 17-20. In 2010, more than 1500 amateur boxers registered and competed. It can provide considerable experience in ringside medicine and interaction with other experienced ringside physicians.
